In the Japanese tea ceremony, there is a tool called a chasyaku, also known as a tea ladle. It is literally an item to scoop matcha powder, and it is said that one made from bamboo is a standard type for tea ceremony lessons.
Made from bamboo, it is more elastic and durable than its wooden counterpart. Furthermore, unlike metallic spoons, it does not generate static electricity while scooping the matcha.
As the handle of the ladle is slightly curved, it is designed to allow you to scoop the matcha easier.
Instructions
When cleansing, wipe with a dry cloth or tissue paper without using water.
Avoid wetting this product. Humidity could cause corrosion and the matcha powder sticks more to the ladle, which makes scooping inconvenient.
