Iwachu Nambu Japanese Cast Iron Taiyaki Maker 24030

Iwachu

Nambu ironware is famous for its good heat conductivity, uniform cooking, and food sticking prevention. This is a taiyaki maker made by Japanese ironware brand Iwachu.
Taiyaki is a Japanese fish-shaped pancake with a filling of anko (sweet red bean taste). Literally translated as ?baked sea bream?, each piece of taiyaki looks like seabream.
The plates are riveted together and the end of the handle has a hook to bond with another handle. This ensures tighter food fastening with little risk of loosening and spillage.
You can make up to two pieces of taiyaki at once. Enjoy this sweet and unique-looking Japanese street food at home.
Instructions
The cast-iron cookware requires a process called seasoning to avoid food sticking to it and rusting. It is said that proper and constant seasoning allows the product to last for decades.
After use, brush the cooking surface with a scrubbing brush or sponge and rinse impurities with warm water. You do not have to use detergent unless it is extremely dirty.
After cleansing, wipe off any moisture well, and heat plates to remove humidity. To prevent rusting, dry them completely.
Cool the taiyaki maker for a while, add oil to the entire plate surface, and store it in a dry place. Wrap it with newspaper so that you can keep it hygienic and dry.
