This product is produced by Marukyu Koyamaen the long-established green tea products manufacturer founded in Uji, Kyoto since 1704.
Marukyu Koyamaen’s products receive patronage of gourmet supermarkets, first class hotels, high class shrines and temples, and the prominent Japanese tea ceremony schools. They are also a regular prize-winner that they have won 1st prize for Japan’s annually-held National Tea Competition for 21 times in total.
Kinrin has a well-balanced mixture of freshness, mildness, and richness that can be used for any purposes including drinking, tea ceremony, and cooking. This matcha can be enjoyed as both koicha (thick tea, like a cream soup) and usucha (thin tea, like a regular coffee).
Safe and clean: only the matcha that passed screenings of microorganism, foreign substance, and residual pesticide as well as a physicochemical inspection can proceed to state of the art steam heating sterilizer, then it will be marketed.
Packed in a pull-top steel can that effectively protects delicate matcha powder from humidity, heat, sunlight, and smell migration.
